Meet Kate Hall
I see what could be. That’s what keeps me going.
I’ve always been a creatively driven person. Even as a kid, art was my escape—it gave me a place to go when life felt heavy or uncertain. Growing up, I had ample opportunities for travel, and that sparked something in me early on: a love for discovery. New places, new faces, new textures of life—they all feed the soul.
By the time I was around 10 or 11, people started telling me, “You should be an artist.” I kind of laughed it off back then, but the seed was planted. I explored a bunch of different directions, but art was the one that kept coming back to me.
I studied all kinds of art—photography, sculpture, ceramics, drawing, watercolor—you name it. I didn’t chase the degree, I just chased the art. Some of it came naturally, and some of it didn’t. The more technical stuff challenged me, but I found joy in the struggle. The results were always worth it. And even if I don’t use every medium today, all of it pours into what I create now.
I’ve been doing custom work since I was 17. Murals became my sweet spot—the perfect combination of vision, community, and transformation. There’s something powerful about turning a blank wall into a living, breathing story. It changes a space. It changes how people feel in it. It gives a sense of pride, of belonging, of beauty.
And it’s not just about the clients—it’s about the community. I’ve had people stop me on the street to share how my work made them feel. Some don’t know my name, but they know the art. That means everything to me. I’ve even had people experiencing homelessness talk to me about the meaning behind my murals. And let me tell you—when someone who is often overlooked stops to tell you what your work sparked in them? That’s the kind of impact I live for.
I love custom work. I love listening to someone’s ideas and turning them into something that’s not just beautiful—but personal. Something that speaks to who they are or what they’re building. I see more than what’s in front of me—I see what could be. That’s what keeps me going.
I’m endlessly inspired by travel, nature, and the stories found in everyday life. I dream of painting in Ireland again, of exploring new cities, and bringing bold, meaningful color wherever I go.
Because for me, art isn’t just what I do. It’s how I see the world.
And this world? It’s worth painting.
